Time in The Life of A Zoo Maned Wolf
Another day, I wake up in this small room I hear those creatures shuffling about outside my room, well me and my mates room. Eventually I get up stretching and
walk over to the bowls eating some of my food leaving some for my mate then notice the door to the outside has opened. I guess it is time to go to work, examining
the creatures from as best of cover available. I walk outside our neighbor the ant eater is already out searching the trees for bugs, I avoid him, he's testy when he
hasn't eaten yet, and move to my usual spot near the see through wall and wait looking at the wooden platform expectantly. I grin some as my mate joins me soon,
and we lay in the dirt looking up towards the platform. "Look, foxes!" I hear one exclaim and chuckle some and lift my head. I used to be bothered by the mistaken
identity, but now it's kind of quaint how excited they are to see the creature in question, but I know what I am, a Maned wolf, and I'm content to lay here and watch
the creatures as they watch me. Eventually the day grows close to it's end and my mate and I return to our room and curl up with one another after eating the fresh
food that has been put in our bowls. It's not such a bad life.. but it does get boring, maybe we'll have a cub... yeah, I will talk to my mate about that tomorrow.
The next day begins as the previous, but I stay inside a while longer enjoying the warmth of my mate the cool wind blowing, and on it's breath I hear the creatures
asking where we are. It's as though they expect us to be there constantly, and as much as I am curious about the creatures i am more interested in speaking to my
mate about a cub. She rouses slowly and I lick her cheek before she walks to the food and water eating her fill and returning to my side knowing something was
amiss. I talk to her for a small bit about my idea to bring some more joy to our life, and she seems to enjoy the idea. We make plans to begin trying to get her
pregnant later, but for now we step outside and relieve ourselves before going to our normal spot in the sun watching the creatures. I nibble lightly at her neck and
smile as I eagerly look toward the future.

Aww, such a nice story about the wolves, I'll admit I though they were foxes to at first, stealing our foxy colors, though I'm really sad this is almost the end folks, I'm gonna miss you all when it's done see you on the last page.
